Kind of systems.

Systems have different classifications, within which can be classified as regards its constitution, the systems can be physical or abstract:

Physical or concrete: When are composed of computers, machinery and objects and real things. To summarize, when consisting of "hardware". computer building.
Abstract: When are composed of concepts, plans, assumptions and ideas. In short, when compounded of "software". Mathematics, school.

It also can be classified as their nature, in which the systems can be closed or open:

Closed Systems: Are those without exchange with the environment around them, they are sealed to any environmental influence. Thus, closed systems do not receive any influence from the environment, and on the other hand not influence the environment. Not receive any external resources and produce nothing that is sent out.
Open systems: Are systems that have trade relations with the environment through inputs and outputs. Open systems exchange matter and energy with the environment regularly.
The open system concept can be applied to various levels of approach: the level of individual, group level, the level of the organization and the level of society, ranging from a micro to a supra. More broadly, ranging from the cell to the universe. The largest category of open systems are living systems.

Another classification systems give is static or dynamic:

Static: Applicable to any system whose values remain constant over time, such as a mountain.
Dynamic: Is a system whose state evolves with time. The behavior in this state can be characterized by determining the limits of the system elements and their relationships in this way can develop models that seek to represent the structure of the system, like a river.
